Monday anniversary - my choices are closed on Mondays - help

My 7th wedding anniversary is on Monday 11/30. After telling my husband what a great meal we would enjoy at Commis, and showing him the sample menu & feedback on CH, I found that Commis is closed on Mondays. My first instinct was to have our dinner at Commis on Sunday. But after giving it some thought, I really would like to have a nice meal on our actual anniversary. We have the day off and don't mind driving, so the possibilities are open. Other places that I was looking at, that are unfortunately closed Mondays: Acquerello, the dining room at the Ritz, and closer to home: Manresa, Chez TJ, Trevese. So what does that leave me with? Downstairs Mondays at Chez Panisse, Bix, Ame, Bacar, Perbacco, SPQR? (Incanto is out as we're going there with friends 2 weeks earlier.) We're easy to please, no dietary restrictions, and the place doesn't necessarily have to be an "occassion" restaurant. I would say that the quality of the food matters most. San Francisco, Berkeley/Oakland, the Peninsula and the South Bay are all fair game. I know my request is kind of broad, but I would really appreciate your help. Thanks a lot. -Carminia
